A Quick Update and Thank You

Hello everybody, hope you are all having a good day!

I just wanted to write a quick message just to say thank you and give you an update on my direction for this blog.

Since starting this blog just over two weeks ago. I’ve only encountered positives and it has been such a welcoming experience. It’s not easy for anybody to share their thoughts and opinions so freely on a platform such as WordPress, especially if you’re new to blogging. I’m generally a shy person, and don’t usually share my opinions as freely as I should, so for people to be so open and accepting of my thoughts makes me feel good. I have seen a lot of people put up thank you messages, so if you think that I’m doing this just to put up content that is certainly not the case, I genuinely mean it.

This morning, I was greeted to a notification. A notification that put a very big smile on my face. I have reached 100 followers! Β To think that 100 people are following my blog and looking at my content makes me feel so happy. Not only that but I’m just under 700 views which adds to my positive emotions! It’s all a step in the right direction, and I’m glad people are willing to follow the journey with me.



As for the blog itselfs, I’m still very new to this so I’m trying to learn as much as I can each day. Not only do I want to personally improve myself, but also my blog. I’ve been thinking a lot about the direction I want to go. In the next few months, I’ll be adding new sections to my blog. As you are now aware, I’m very big into running. So this will be something I will certainly be writing a lot more about. This will include topics of food, diet, gym, progression and generally fitness. The content I post now will still be a main part also. I enjoy talking about experiences I encounter throughout my life, so I will continue to share this with you all. Travelling will be a big part of my life in coming years so the possibility to add a section on this is strong. Not only do I want to add more content, but I want to make the blog itself look a lot better. So, plans to tidy up the appearance is something I will be looking to do also.

Writing is something I love. But I also love reading the content you all post. Each new day, I’m greeted with brilliant content by so many people on this website. Their are so many different types of blogs and content and I genuinely love reading it.

Today, I plan to read for the whole day. So if anyone has any blog post they’ve written then throw it up in the comments section and I’ll be sure to read it! It can be anything, a new blog post, an old one, a favourite one, anything!Β

  1. Wow – seriously, 100 followers after doing it for 2 weeks. Im so impressed. Ive been doing it 2 weeks and have a mere 3 (very lovely) followers! Can I ask how did you achieve this, any tips for me? πŸ™‚ Also your blog itself looks great, you obviously have quite a bit of skill with wordpress (unlike me!). Congrats on the 100 followers and 700 likes in such a short space of time, that just amazing πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you! I’m very surprised by it all really. I just read a lot of stuff that other people write and try to comment or give an honest opinion on what I thought. The content on here is really good! I don’t know if there’s any specific recipe for it. I try to post everyday which maybe helps. Give it time and it will come eventually, Rome wasn’t built in a day πŸ˜€ I appreciate your comments! If I can help any bit then send me an email πŸ‘πŸ»

  2. Congratulations! WP is a wonderful community, and I have only found encouragement here.
    I admire your dedication to your running; it must take a great deal of commitment – but watching the Olympics, I think it is certainly worth it, to achieve your own personal best in something. πŸ™‚

    1. Cheers! Yeah the people here are wonderful, at least the ones I’ve come across so far πŸ˜ƒ It is a lot of commitment, I train 5-6 days a week but I love it and it has so many benefits! Thanks for your comment.
